Malcolm is the oldest surviving member of the clan. He is a metahuman with the power of a greatly increased lifespan and superhuman endurance. He claims to have been 15 when the cataclysm occurred and now claims to be 292 years old.

The years have not been kind to Malcolm as his extended lifespan did not also provide eternal youth. Malcolm continues to age physically. He is still sharp of mind, but his physical infirmities make him difficult to understand. His mind has also slipped into dementia, however, in his lucid moments he is capable of remarkable insight into the history of the land before the cataclysm.
